Ultrasound Library

The Ultrasound Library is a searchable online library containing hundreds of ultrasound papers published by Chrestomathic Press, Inc., from 1995 to 2001. The Ultrasound Library provides access to highly valuable papers that are not available from any other source. You can now purchase printouts of individual papers that were previously available only to subscribers.

•

Subject areas include adult echocardiography, pediatric echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, abdominal ultrasound, and OB-GYN ultrasound.

•

Check the Subject Index for a quick listing of all papers in the Ultrasound Library, organized in subject order.

•

Check the Author Index for an alphabetical listing, by author's last name, of all contributors to papers in the Ultrasound Library.

•

Search the content of all the papers in the online Ultrasound Library by keywords, authors, or publication name.

•

Printouts of individual papers in the Ultrasound Library are available for online purchase only. They cannot be ordered or delivered by mail, fax, or e-mail.

You must print copies on your own printer. A color inkjet printer is recommended but not required. Check the item listings for information about whether a particular paper includes color images.

•

To purchase a printout of a paper, search for a document, click the "Add-to-cart" link. Then, you may return to the Ultrasound Library and add to your order, or, you may proceed to checkout. You are required to create an account with us before you can complete your purchase. During the checkout, you are asked to make a secured online credit card transaction. The documents you order will be instantly available for printing after the purchase is completed. The link to the document will be mailed to your E-Mail address.

If you did not use the Shopping Cart option to list the papers you want, you can enter the Item # for each paper on the Order Form. You may also delete items listed by the Shopping Cart on this form.

•

When the order process and the credit card transaction are completed, you will immediately be able to print one copy of each paper you have ordered.

If you do not print out the papers at the time of purchase, this service will allow you to print your choices anytime within 48 hours of completion of this transaction.

All papers in the Ultrasound Library are formatted as PDF files. You do must have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to print out your copy.

To print a copy of the paper, click the link provided in your E-Mail. Choose "Save" to download and store on your hard drive. Then open the document and use the Print option. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.x or higher installed.

You have access to the paper for 48 hours after the initial purchase. To access the document again, simply click on the provided in your E-Mail.

Purchase of a paper in the online Ultrasound Library entitles you to print out one copy of the paper. The physical printout of the paper you purchased from Chrestomathic Press, Inc., is your property. You may give the document away, resell it, summarize it, or quote from it with attribution.

All papers in the Ultrasound Library are copyrighted by Chrestomathic Press, Inc. Copyright is NOT transferred to anyone who purchases a printout of a paper. You have NOT acquired the right to download, copy, or distribute the article. You may NOT make copies of the document or create a derivative work based on the document. You may NOT use the material to provide continuing education credit to anyone who has not purchased a subscription from Chrestomathic Press, Inc. If you give away or sell the printout you purchased, you may NOT keep a copy for yourself—you must purchase each separate copy intended for distribution.

You must request permission in writing from the publisher to reprint figures, tables, or any other information included in the papers copyrighted by Chrestomathic Press, Inc. See Contact Us for the mailing address for the publisher' Reprints and Permissions department.

Back issues posted in the Ultrasound Library are no longer available for CME credit. The CME exams that appeared with the original publications are not included in the library editions.
